General

Yes — we work with clients across Alberta and elsewhere in Canada remotely, with in-person meetings available for local clients.

Reach out through our contact page, or call or email us directly. We'll learn about your business and recommend which services make sense for you.

No — we specialize exclusively in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, tax, and business advisory services and do not provide audit, review, or assurance engagements.

Bookkeeping

Yes — we're set up on both and can migrate you from desktop software or spreadsheets with minimal disruption.

We regularly bring clients current from a year or more behind. We'll scope a one-time cleanup separately from ongoing monthly bookkeeping.

Yes, GST/HST tracking and filing preparation is included as part of monthly bookkeeping.

Payroll

Yes — we'll collect year-to-date figures so T4s stay accurate and nothing is double-reported.

Yes, we prepare and submit the ROE through Service Canada's ROE Web within the required deadline.

Payroll is scoped by pay run, not headcount, so it works for a one-person owner payroll just as well as a larger team.

Personal Tax

April 30 for most individuals. If you or your spouse are self-employed, the filing deadline extends to June 15, though any balance owing is still due April 30.

Yes, we regularly prepare multi-year catch-up filings and can help you navigate CRA's Voluntary Disclosures Program if applicable.

Yes, rental income (T776), capital gains, and investment income are all included in our personal tax service.

Corporate Tax

Your T2 return is due six months after your corporation's fiscal year-end, though any balance owing is generally due two or three months after year-end.

It depends on your personal and corporate tax situation, RRSP goals, and cash flow needs — this is exactly the kind of planning we walk through with clients before year-end.

Yes, we regularly support clients through CRA reviews and correspondence and can represent your corporation directly with CRA.

GST/HST

Registration is mandatory once your total revenue from taxable supplies exceeds $30,000 over four consecutive calendar quarters. Below that, you can register voluntarily if it benefits you — for example, to start claiming input tax credits.

CRA assigns your filing frequency — monthly, quarterly, or annually — based on your annual taxable revenue. We'll confirm your assigned frequency and make sure filings stay on schedule.

Input tax credits let you recover the GST/HST you paid on eligible business purchases and expenses, reducing what you owe (or increasing your refund) on your return.

Business Consulting

No — business consulting is available on its own, though many clients pair it with our tax and accounting services for a full picture of their numbers.

Yes, we regularly prepare lender-ready financial packages and forecasts to support financing applications.

It depends on your liability exposure, expected income, and long-term goals. We'll walk through the trade-offs specific to your situation before you decide.
